Common Ground: Students were encouraged to find common ground between their two interviewees. Informal polling of students before collection of data and more formal polling the following semester (see numeracy lesson) suggested that student perception of veterans and peace activists did not foresee much common ground. This section contains groupings of video clips that emphasize common ground, as well as student reflections on common ground based on knowledge gained from their interviews.
